CTET Workshops

CTET offers a number of ongoing and ad hoc faculty development opportunities to support RRU faculty and staff in delivering excellent learning experiences using educational technologies. We may also be able to create custom offerings for your RRU school or program; contact us to discuss.

All CTET workshops are available free to RRU faculty and staff. Contact CTET Faculty Development or Studio for the discount code.

Our ongoing faculty development offerings include:

Teaching (pedagogical) workshops

These workshops will help instructors develop skills and strategies for teaching in online, face-to-face, and blended learning environments.

Technology workshops

These workshops will help instructors and program staff learn how to use tools and technologies for teaching and supporting online and blended learning.

  • Moodle: Getting Around: Focused on the basics of navigating around a Moodle course for new users. This workshop is delivered on-campus over 2 hours.
  • Moodle: Editing & Enhancing: Focused on learning how to build and edit a Moodle course for users with basic Moodle navigational skills. Learn how to add and edit Moodle activities and resources. This workshop is delivered on-campus over 3 hours.
  • Moodle: Editing & Enhancing Online: This is the online version of Moodle: Editing and Enhancing, focused on learning how to build and edit a Moodle course for users with basic Moodle navigational skills. Learn how to add and edit Moodle activities and resources. This workshop is delivered online over 3 weeks.
  • Getting Started with Collaborate UltraFocused on learning how to use Collaborate Ultra and developing technical proficiency using Collaborate Ultra tools and moderator controls. This 90-minute workshop is delivered synchronously online.
