Ellen is a learning designer who enjoys consulting with faculty on program and course design, program mapping, assessment strategies and learning design best practices. She works collaboratively with learning technologist and faculty to design and develop learner-centered, pedagogically sound courses that promote social constructivist learning, team based learning, and collaborative learning as prescribed by the learning and teaching model of RRU.
Ellen has extensive experience in program and course design, evaluation, and organizational training and development for a variety of private and public sector clients. Ellen has held several leadership positions in the areas of curriculum design and evaluation with the Provincial Government. She has a consulting practice that has been advancing workplace and academic learning for over 20 years.

- Certified with BC College of Teachers (Teacher Education - University of British Columbia)
Ellen is currently the program liaison learning designer for the School of Education and Technology and graduate program in the School of Communication and Culture.
