Keith helps faculty and program staff design and develop courses to support social constructivist learning and emulate the Royal Roads Learning and Teaching Model. he supports faculty in their teaching through individual consultations, workshops and in the CTET Studio.
Keith has been an educator for several decades, including as a staff instructor at the Regional Cadet Instructor School, a stint as a high school teacher, teaching educational technology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria and teaching in the Graduate Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning at Thompson Rivers University. Keith was an instructional designer and educational technologist at the University of Victoria for a decade before coming to Royal Roads.
Keith has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master of Arts in history at the University of Victoria. He completed the post-degree program in secondary education (intern option) and was awarded a British Columbia College of Teachers Teaching Certificate.
Keith co-teaches LRNT 504 Instructional Design for Technology-Mediated Learning in the School of Education and Technology.
