Synchronous Web Conferencing
RRU faculty and students use a variety of web conferencing programs to meet online and share ideas and information. Online web conferencing is successful when:
- students and faculty use a headset (mic and headphones),
- have a newer computer,
- fast internet connection, and
- connect using a landline rather than wireless.
Blackboard Collaborate™ is a synchronous web conferencing system. CTET provides training to instructors who want to use Blackboard Collaborate™ to facilitate learning in a synchronous environment.
Anyone can set up a Skype account.
